Sourcing concept · Not available to buy
Slow steep. Bright morning.
We’re exploring a 64 oz pitcher, an 8 oz bag of fresh coffee, and a simple brew guide for making cold brew at home. No supplier is secured, so this is a concept—not a product offer.
Planning price
$44.99
Free U.S. shipping is part of the idea only if verified landed costs support it. The price and shipping plan are not confirmed.
The draft brew guide
One slow steep
The research draft uses 113 g coarse-ground coffee and 680 g cold water. Steep covered in the refrigerator for 18–24 hours, then dilute 1:1 to taste.
This recipe still needs testing with the exact pitcher and filter before it could become a kit guide.
What sourcing has shown
A promising starting point, with open questions.
A Faire listing for a 64 oz Brewing America pitcher shows a $36.99 MSRP; the wholesale price is hidden. A private-label coffee program lists 8 oz bags from $12, but that is a starting price for coffee—not a confirmed kit cost.
The $44.99 price has no verified landed margin yet. After the $12 coffee starting price, just $10.50 remains within a $22.50 per-kit cost target for the pitcher, packaging, delivery, handling, and breakage allowance.
Before this could be offered
The essentials still need checking.
- A supplier and written landed-cost quote, including the hidden Faire wholesale price.
- Food-contact documents for the exact pitcher, lid, filter, and seal.
- Customer drop-shipping, shared shipment, and who handles breakage or wrong items.
- Coarse-grind availability and a brew test with the actual pitcher and filter.
- Current Fair Trade paperwork for the specific coffee lot before making any Fair Trade claim.
This is a sourcing update, not a product listing. There is no checkout or purchase option for the kit.
